Heat build plate as close to 85°C as possible. Using hairspray without lubricant (i.e., Aqua Net) is recommended.&lt;br /&gt;

The following settings are recommended for printing ABS on a Hyrel Printer:&lt;br /&gt;

ABS prints best from the [[MK1-250]] print head with these settings:&lt;br /&gt;

*Pulses per nanoliter: (leave default)&lt;br /&gt;
*Flow Multiplier: 1.000&lt;br /&gt;
*Prime Values:&lt;br /&gt;
**Steps: 100&lt;br /&gt;
**Rate: 10,000&lt;br /&gt;
**Time: 25&lt;br /&gt;
**Primes after tool change: 1&lt;br /&gt;
*Unprime Values:&lt;br /&gt;
**Steps: 100&lt;br /&gt;
**Rate: 10,000&lt;br /&gt;
**Time: 20&lt;br /&gt;
**Unprimes before tool change: 1&lt;br /&gt;

Use progressively higher grit sandpapers to remove ridges from layers. Use heat gun to darken areas discolored by sanding. Apply finishing spray (XTC or similar) for a glossy finish.&lt;br /&gt;
